Christmas and New Years Holiday Season

This Christmas and Holiday season was one of the best I have ever Had. It ministered to me and all of my family and friends. The christmas tree did not have a lot of gifts but it was a season of giving. I spent most of my time with my family and close friends rejoicing in Christ and the reality of Immanuel, God's presence among us. We as a family decided to bless others this Christmas, folks we didn't know but needed to experience the love of God.

While watching a college basketball game with my family I realized that my values have changed. Relationships meant more than things enjoying the fellowship of my family and God's people is priceless. I meditated a lot about Jesus being the reason for the season and I found so much meaning in the simple things of life. Laughter fellowship, music and sharing experiences with my college adult children.

Even did some winter catfishing to get food for a fish fry for the Greater First Baptist Choir and God blessed bountifully. Spent a lot of time praying for the membership and appreciating them for all they do and allow Themselves to be used by God. What a holiday season, so much love and peace and joy.
